Gonzalo Cano's House

Built between 1535 and 1550. Construction system: walls made of adobe bricks and plastered with mud (talpuja), the roof was covered with clay tiles, and the floor was made of adobe bricks laid in an interlocking design known as "herringbone." The current area is 1,646.95 m².
Gonzalo Cano was the steward and attorney of Governor Rodrigo de Contreras. He was a wealthy merchant in the city.
